Chalet with garden in the Macugnaga mountain resort in the Pecetto area overlooking the Monte Rosa. This is a popular tourist location and ski resort located at the foot of Mount Rosa on the east side of the mountain, the highest part of the Alps and is the only Himalayan type ascent present in this mountain range . The municipality of Macugnaga is located in the Anzasca Valley in the province of Verbania, which is an hour's drive away, at an altitude of 1500 m above sea level. The chalet was built in the 1970's in Walser style, in a lovely location. quiet and exclusive, among larch woods, pastures, and with breathtaking views of the glacier, close to the chair lifts.
The chalet is built on three levels plus the basement, and divided into two carefully constructed apartments, with pine wood for the exterior and partly exposed stonework. The interior walls are entirely made of larch wood, parquet flooring, and a two-sided stone roof of beola slabs, also known as "piode".
On the ground floor is a small entrance hall that leads to the first apartment with living room-dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and second bedroom with three beds, bathroom with bath tub. The living room is connected by an internal staircase to the basement where there is a large family room with fireplace, a bathroom with shower, two cellars and the boiler room. The basement can also be reached from an external staircase.
The apartment on the first floor has the same floor playout namely: living room, here with a double balcony on the opposite facades, kitchen, bedroom and second bedroom, bathroom with a bathtub; wooden staircase leading to the attic where there are two rooms with a balcony and a bathroom. Central heating on each floor.
The chalet, thanks to its tasteful finishes and careful maintenance, has not suffered from the passage of time. It is sold furnished.
The garden, with larch grove stands, and rose bushes, and the border marked by high grasses, is surrounded by a graceful pond. It is equipped with benches and tables in stone and a barbecue.
